Charges · RKT / OMRK

Charges and quotations

Current rates are issued on request, not published. This page tells you which charges apply, what the desk will need in order to price them, and how to get a written quotation the same working day.

Rates on request

Why there is no price list here

The last aeronautical tariff the airport published dates from 2011 and is not current. Reprinting it would be worse than publishing nothing, because a stale number gets built into a trip budget and then has to be unwound. Until the airport issues a current schedule, this page describes the charge categories and points you at the desk that quotes them.

If you need a rate card for an internal approval, ask the operations desk for a written quotation and use that. It will be specific to the aircraft, the dates and the services you actually want.

Charges that apply at RKT

Each entry says what the charge covers and what the desk will ask you for in order to price it.

Landing

Charged per movement. The desk will ask for the aircraft type, registration, maximum take-off mass and the nature of the flight — commercial, private, positioning or training.

Include in the request

Aircraft typeMTOWPurpose of flight

Parking on the apron

Charged for time on the ground beyond the free period the desk will confirm. Long stays are quoted separately, and a long-term parking request has to be flagged in the landing permission so bay availability can be checked.

Include in the request

Arrival and departure in UTCNumber of nights

Hangarage

Hangar space exists on the field but is limited and never guaranteed on the day. Quoted per night or per period, subject to what is free and to the aircraft fitting.

Include in the request

Aircraft type and dimensionsDatesWhether open parking is acceptable as a fallback

Ground handling

Marshalling, ground power, steps, towing, lavatory and water servicing, and the passenger and crew handling that goes with them. Quoted by your nominated handler — the airport's own ground handling unit or Ramjet Aviation Support.

Include in the request

Passenger and crew numbersTurnaround or overnightNominated handler

Out-of-hours and callout

The aerodrome and its services run continuously, so there is no closed period to price around. Where a specific service needs to be called out for your movement the desk will say so in the quotation rather than after the fact.

Include in the request

Movement times in UTC

Fuel

Jet A-1 into-plane, delivered by bowser at any hour. Pricing is posted monthly for Jet A-1 and Avtur, and bulk orders may be eligible for a discount. The fuel contains no anti-ice inhibitor.

Include in the request

Estimated uplift in litresDate of uplift

Fire category upgrade

The field is permanently at ARFF category 7. Category 9 is available on prior request and is arranged and priced case by case; confirm the notice period with the desk when you ask.

Passes and permits

Entry passes, crew passes, vehicle passes, gate passes and airside driving permits are issued by the Public Relations Office. No fee is published for any of them; the airside driving permit application requires the company letter to state the method of payment, so a charge exists.

Include in the request

Pass typeNumber of people or vehiclesCompany letter

Catering and ground transport

Catering is provided on the field by Alpha Flight Services. Ground transport, hotels, laundry and similar crew and passenger requirements are arranged through your handler and passed through at cost plus handling.

What we can state today

These are firm. Everything else on this page is a category, not a price.

Fuel pricing is posted monthly

Jet A-1 and Avtur prices are posted each month, and bulk Jet A-1 orders may qualify for a discount. Ground handling holds the current price.

There are no noise charges

No noise restrictions are in place at RKT, so no noise-related charge or exemption process applies.

There is no de-icing charge

There is no de-icing capability on the field, in any season.

Oil is not stocked

Oil can be obtained with 72 hours of prior notice, and is quoted when you ask for it.

Getting a quotation

Send the operations desk the movement and it comes back priced. A quotation is written, itemised and specific to the flight.

Include in the request

  • Aircraft type and registration, and the operator on the certificate
  • ETA and ETD in UTC, and how many nights on the ground
  • Passenger and crew numbers on each leg
  • Fuel uplift, if any, in litres
  • Hangar or open apron, and whether either is acceptable
  • Ground transport, catering and any special handling
  • Whether you already hold a landing permit number for RKT

What is not published yet

The items below are genuinely unpublished rather than withheld. The operations desk will answer them for a specific flight.

  • No current aeronautical tariff — landing, parking, handling, ground power, tug, start or callout — is published.
  • No fee or processing time is published for any pass type or for the airside driving permit.
  • No annual, based-aircraft or flight-training rate is published, and it is not known whether circuits are charged per landing or per session.
  • No walk-up price is published for the business lounge or the VIP terminal.

Planning reference only

This page is compiled from the UAE eAIP entry for OMRK and from the airport's own publications. It is not an operational source. The current UAE AIP and the NOTAMs in force are the authority for every figure shown — check both before you file.
