Tenders and supplier opportunities

Open tenders for the airport are published on the airport's tender portal. This page tells you where that is, what to expect, and where to go for the commercial opportunities that are not run as tenders.

Where tenders are published

The tender list

Current and closed tenders are listed on the airport's own tender portal. It is a separate system from this website, and it is the only place a live tender list is maintained.

The portal is hosted outside this site and opens in a new tab. If it is unavailable, contact the commercial office rather than assuming there is nothing open.

How it works

What to expect

Read the tender document, not the summary

Scope, submission format, deadline and any bid security requirement are set in the tender document itself. Where the portal and a summary disagree, the document governs.

Submit before the deadline stated in the document

Late submissions are not something an airport can quietly accept. If a clarification changes the deadline it will be issued through the same channel as the tender.

Ask clarification questions early

Questions raised close to the deadline may not get an answer in time to be useful to you. Send them to the commercial office in writing.

Check anything that reaches you another way

If an invitation to tender arrives from any source other than the portal or the commercial office, confirm it with the commercial office before you respond to it.

Procurement enquiries

Send tender and supplier enquiries to the commercial office. Include the tender reference where you have one.

Not published on this site

  • Standard terms and conditions of purchase
  • A supplier pre-registration or vendor database process
  • Payment terms and invoicing requirements
  • Prequalification criteria outside those set in an individual tender document
Ask the commercial office for any of the above in writing. We would rather send you the current version than leave a stale copy on a web page.

What to send with a first enquiry

  • Company name, a named contact and an official mailing address
  • Company credentials — trade licence, ownership and relevant track record
  • A short business plan for what you intend to operate here
  • What you need, in square metres or by format, and for how long
  • Anything else that would help us answer quickly

Enquiries go to the airport's commercial team. Nothing is reserved, allocated or priced until we have replied in writing.
