Parking here costs nothing
The car parks sit directly in front of the terminals and there is no charge to use them. Nobody flying from Ras Al Khaimah has to price a week away against the cost of leaving the car behind.

Getting here
Where to leave the car
Departures and arrivals are separate buildings, each with parking in front of it. Drive to the one you actually need — there is no internal transfer between them.

Meeting a flight
Meeting an arriving flight
The gap between the wheels touching and a passenger walking out of the arrivals hall is longer than most people expect. A few habits make the wait shorter.
Live arrivals board- Check the live arrivals board before you leave home rather than working from the time on the ticket — the board carries the actual landing time.
- Once the flight is on the ground, allow for passport control, the baggage belt and customs before anyone appears at the door.
- Park and wait inside or in the car; the forecourt is not a waiting area.
- Anything left behind on board or in the terminal is handled by the Duty Officer at the Departure Terminal.
Beyond 24 hours
Leaving the car for more than 24 hours
A vehicle left at the airport beyond 24 hours needs a parking pass. It is one of the passes issued by the airport's Public Relations Office, and it is much easier to arrange before you fly than from the other end of a trip.
- 01Contact the Public Relations Office in advance with your travel dates and the vehicle details.
- 02The office works Sunday to Thursday 08:00–23:00 and Saturday 08:00–14:00. It is closed on Fridays and public holidays.
- 03Outside those hours the Airport Duty Officer handles pass requests on the after-hours line listed here.
- 04Requirements and any fee for the parking pass are not published — confirm both when you call.

Assistance
If someone in the car needs help
Both terminals have wheelchairs, an ambu-lift and accessible toilets, and a nurse is on duty at the airport. Tell the airline when you book, then call the airport before you travel so the terminal team knows what is coming.
Open questions
