A 30-seat Business Lounge inside the passenger operation, and a separate VIP Terminal that takes up to 60 passengers. Both are run by the airport rather than by a lounge programme, so access is arranged through your airline or directly with the VIP handling desk.
Thirty. It is a room, not a floor — at a busy departure bank it fills.
Passengers travelling in premium and Premiere-class cabins, presented by the airline. There is no published walk-up or paid entry, and the airport is not part of a third-party lounge programme as far as it publishes.
Up to sixty, in a building separate from the two passenger terminals.
The VIP Terminal is used for heads of delegation, government and corporate parties, and private groups who would rather not pass through the main halls. Customs, Immigration and Special Branch Police are on the field around the clock and Ras Al Khaimah is a full port of entry, so formalities are completed on site rather than deferred to another airport.
The VIP Terminal is not walk-up. Contact the VIP handling desk in advance — it is staffed around the clock — and give them the flight number and date, whether you are arriving or departing, the number of passengers, and anything you need on the ground such as transport or catering. They will confirm what is possible and what it costs.
At the airport
Business aviation is handled outside the passenger terminals entirely.
RAK Airport Ground Handling is the airport's own FBO, with an office in the passenger terminal, staffed H24. Ramjet Aviation Support is the second licensed handler on the field, available 24 hours on request. Aircraft handling, crew transport, hotels, catering and customs clearance all run through whichever of them you nominate.
Forthcoming
A private aviation complex is being built with Falcon Executive Aviation, announced in November 2025 and targeted to open in the first quarter of 2027. The design includes a 1,500 m² VVIP terminal with a Royal lounge and four VVIP lounges. It is under construction and is not open to passengers.
